St. Patrick’s Day
16th Mar 2026
We had a fantastic Lá Glas today to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. We dressed up in green and had great fun celebrating being Irish!
1st and 2nd Class took part in a whole school assembly where each class celebrated the great work they have been doing in their classrooms. We performed a poem as Gaeilge called Bogha Báistí. This was followed by a few Irish tunes on the tin whistle, concertina and accordion. We are very lucky to have so many talented students in our classroom. We finished up by performing a dance we learned for Seachtain na Gaeilge called An Dreolín. The children had great fun dancing, singing and showcasing their talents in front of the whole school.
Lá Fhéile Pádraig sona daoibh go léir!
