This week 1st and 2nd Class took part in STEM activities to celebrate Engineers Week. We designed and made parachutes, testing different materials to discover which one helped create the smoothest landing. We also took part in a group challenge to find out who could create the longest paper chain from only 1 piece of paper.
At the end of the week, the children received an Engineers certificate to reward all their hard work as Junior Engineers for the week. This was a week full of creativity, hard work and lots of fun!
